Looking back on this shoot, I just get goosebumps. It wasn't something I planned way in advance. Kevyn Dixon Photography and I met up at a social event for The Knot in uptown Charlotte, and we just started brainstorming. We contacted vendors only about a month before the proposed date, and we could not believe the amount of wonderful talent we had agreeing to help us create our vision! Every little detail of this shoot fulfilled all of our dreams and more! We envisioned an elegant, timeless feel with crisp, clean colors, and navy throughout. We could not have asked for a better turnout. I'm so excited to share these beautiful images with you! And the sunset at the end was just perfect as well.

This summer has been busy...really busy. With my first 8-5 job, I've definitely done a lot of adjusting and growing with each 40 hour work week. I honestly didn't think that I'd have that many opportunities for photography at all, but I was wrong and I'm incredibly glad. I've gotten to collaborate with dozens of wonderfully talented vendors and have been able to grow my network into NC while attending the Charlotte Rising Tide Society Tuesdays Together meetings. I'm excited to be starting school again soon, but even more than that, I'm excited for the exciting things I have in store for photography in the coming months. There is so much in the works, and I can hardly wait to let you in on it all. But you'll have to stay tuned, and enjoy these gorgeous bridal portraits for now! So many pretty details, I can hardly handle it. More images of Amber & Colton will be coming your way soon!
I love travel and adventure. I love seeing things from new perspectives. I love to find good food in exciting places. And I love making moments last for as long as possible.
