Now that she's finally Mrs. Longmire, I can share her bridal portraits with you! This session has been one of the hardest if not the hardest not to share. Everything about Kalla's wedding day look is absolutely perfect from her hair down to the lace detail on her gorgeous gown. And just wait till you see the stunning back! Kalla is a gem, and I have so enjoyed working with her every step of the way as we've planned her big day, and she has a special place in my heart because she also graduated from Clemson. (You'll see some Clemson inspired shots in here too! :)) Can't wait to share Kalla and Daniel's wedding photos later this week, but for now, enjoy Kalla's gorgeous bridal session in Downtown Greenville!
Did you love Kalla's bridal portraits? If so, I bet you'd also love to see Kalla & Daniel's sweet engagement session from back in January.
It was beyond fun going back to my alma mater for the first time since graduation to meet up with Katie & Adam. I'll admit, it was a little weird walking in as an alumnus and not a student, and I got super nostalgic and started missing Clemson a lot! This campus just holds so many memories for me of new beginnings, lessons learned, and opportunities taken. There are things the Lord taught me during my time here that I couldn't have learned anywhere else, and I'm so thankful for his timing and provision through it all. I look back on my years at Clemson and smile because it was such an adventure full of unexpected twists and turns, even my getting there was a crazy story (for another time, maybe :)). It will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I will forever love coming back to shoot sessions here. There truly is something in these hills, and there is something about this sweet couple that just captures the Clemson spirit so perfectly. This semester, I will miss not being back in Tigertown, but I am excited for the road ahead as God continues to lead the way. Go Tigers!!
Everything about this day was perfect! I don't think I have ever been part of a wedding that went off this smoothly and where the guests so enthusiastically enjoyed themselves. That's just a testament to the kind of people Allison and John are, so warm and inviting and fun!! This day was wonderful, but one of my favorite parts was at the reception. Allison and John had a caller for line dancing, and there was not a guest off the dance floor. There was so much energy, and the love their guests felt for them was so evident. I cannot wait for you to see these images. I know you will enjoy reliving their day just as much as I did while I was editing.
Allison wanted to incorporate this family heirloom into her wedding somehow. I thought it fit so perfectly wrapped around her bouquet!
John was a theatre major in college. How cool are his drama-inspired cuff links!?
These guys were a bunch of fun!!
At the end of their first dance, John and Allison broke out into a choreographed waltz, and it was just the most adorable thing ever and totally unexpected.
John's brother and best man gave one of the most heartfelt wedding speeches I've ever heard. It was incredibly sweet, and I'll admit I teared up just a bit listening to it.
Allison and John had these adorable cookies shaped like them as wedding favors! And they made their grand exit as husband and wife in this sweet ride! Everything was just so perfect, down to the little details.
After their exit, we snuck them away for some final bride and groom sunset portraits, and I am so glad we did. These turned out to be my FAVORITE! All the heart eyes for these. The light was perfect and so, so dreamy!
I love travel and adventure. I love seeing things from new perspectives. I love to find good food in exciting places. And I love making moments last for as long as possible.
