This is the third time this adorable married couple has been in front of my camera, and I'm not complaining one bit!! I have so enjoyed getting to know them, and hanging out with them during portrait sessions is just the best! There is hardly a moment where Albert isn't whispering something into Gabriela's ear and her laughter breaks through and brings a huge smile to his face. Nothing like a sweet lifestyle session complete with beautiful Christmas decor to get you in the mood for Christmas Day! I hope you enjoy this session but even more that you are spending the day surrounded by loved ones and remembering the reason for the season! Merry Christmas, friends!!
When I first moved to Columbia, I wanted to connect with other photographers in the area, so I posted a little inquiry saying that I wanted to meet up and do a session swap with someone. I'm so glad I did because I got to meet Ebonn, her hubby, and their two super sweet fur babies. We got to head to the heart of downtown Columbia and spend some time at the SC State House, a location I've always wanted to shoot at, after making a quick stop at the place where Ebonn and Ben first met: Hunter-Gatherer. If you live in Columbia or are new to the area and have never been there, you've gotta check it out! Best burgers! Ebonn & Ben met there on a blind date, and the rest was history. I just loved that story! Enjoy the rest of these images from this super cute session!!
Christmas music is finally playing on the radio!! And I am about to head out for my first round of Christmas shopping after I get some work done. I just LOVE this season, and I thought today would be the perfect time to ring in the season by sharing a holiday family session with you! I have really enjoyed getting to know the Borleis family a little better this past year. It all started with Maddie signing up for my high school senior rep program, so after her senior session last month, I was so excited for another opportunity to work with this family! They wanted a unique location, and I thought this Christmas tree farm would be just perfect! I'm so excited with how their portraits turned out, and I hope you enjoy them too!
A few days ago, I posted the Nolan family's session, The other half of that session, the Eoute family, is coming at you today, and it is an adorable one, let me tell you. Piper and her parents melted my heart! Plus, keep scrolling to see the two cuties who graduated from K5 today in a few shots TOGETHER! It took a little bribing and a lot of jokes from Maddox to persuade Piper to scoot closer, but it was worth it in the end. I know these are going to brighten your day!
If you missed it a couple days ago, check out the Nolan family's session with little Maddox!
I have done plenty of graduation sessions but nothing quite like this before. Little Maddox is graduating... from kindergarten, and he couldn't be any cuter! While we were at it, we had his big brother Connor, who is graduating high school, join in too. They told me that Maddox looks just like Connor did when he was five, and you can definitely tell! But seriously, don't you think Maddox could be on the cover of a GAP kids catalog??
If you liked this session, you might also love the Kuzmic's family session!
The Kuzmics are some of the nicest people I know! They have always been so encouraging to me throughout the years. I went to school with Sarah, their oldest daughter, throughout elementary, junior high, and high school, so we go way back. It was so fun getting to shoot their family portraits! It turned out to be a perfect day, and I love how the lighting turned out. Enjoy some nice, sunny images on a not so nice, gloomier Monday. Chin up, buttercup!
I love travel and adventure. I love seeing things from new perspectives. I love to find good food in exciting places. And I love making moments last for as long as possible.
